    This ain't your grandma's cabbage!
This stuff will make your tongue smack your eyeballs! :D

I love the look of people's face when you show them a whole cabbage cooking away on the grill!

Not much I haven't cooked in a smoker over hickory. I do cabbage like this about 2 hours over a water pan then foil it tight for another hour or so, you can tell by squeezing when its done. I've never put the sauce in it, instead I use a whole stick of butter then add hot/bbq sauce when on the plate. Try tossing a handfull of sliced jalapenos in the hole too!

    Default Goin Downtown.....

..........or, Every Cabbage Has It's Day.
Thought I would honor yur recipe with something home-grown. I did, and it was good.....that comes from a different area of the garden....where was I?,..........oh yeah, cabbage.

Dangit Brian. I appreciate the recipe but here I am again at a crossroads in my life, knowing I'm starin a gift horse in the mouth but without the initiative to take action & follow it thru. Do you realize that in my line of work I could impale that cone/core part of the cabbage that gets cut out on a stick and pampered horse owners would pay a premium to have a source of Cabsicles
for their horses. I could move to Salinas, CA, and am sure for a pittance get all the damaged/diseased/bug-ridden cabbages never made the grade to harvest, remove the cores, and make the rounds in my refridgerated truck from barn to barn. Id be a Fortune 500 company in no time. Women would be
lined up waiting for my arrival, popsicle sticks in hand, lauding my very name.
It would be like the groupies backstage at an old Guns N Roses concert, including the perks.

I'll let you know how the cabbage turns out. I have had a life-long urge to gypsy around pulling a small trailer selling funnel cakes and Indian fry bread. Maybe we can hook up dude.

Just now saw this. Did you cook it up already? If so, how was it? Got pics?

I haven't had one in a long time myself but my buddy has plenty of cabbage on standby for me. Won't be long!

Not yet, maybe tomorrow. I did go out tonight and found a volunteer in the cabbage patch. I dressed him up for the party and he is currently chillin.
I have plenty of cabbage if ya git up this way. I sure wish the unit given cabbage was something other than head. I don't know how to convey to you that I would be glad to give you a cabbage without dudes like Canepole, Pox, & Willsjwills to name just a few, havin a hayday with it and makin us out to be gay caballeros.
Not to mention Mr Ed puttin the kabosh down on 2 former Crappie.commers
in the incident which will go down in the anals of Crappie.commery as the
    Great Head Fiasco of '07.
