    Default beer batter recipe

here is my beer batter recipe. please use the leinenkugels honey weiss and not a light beer, as this is about taste and not your adonis-like man beauty. brian

    1 cup of flour
    1 tsp lawrys seasoned salt
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1 egg
    1 tbsp paprika
    1 tbsp chili powder
    2 tbsp garlic powder
1 bottle of leinenkugels honey weiss

mix all until the batter is thin enough to flow easily off each fillet. when you dip and pull out, you want to be able to see fish through the batter, or very close to it.

let me know what you think

holy balls, i must have had the other 11 leinies before i posted this! only add 3/4 cup of flour at first, add the last 1/4 if/and as you need it. also beat your egg first. can dust your fillets in flour before you dip in the batter and it will take to the fillet better. enjoy, brian

Do something similar, almost seems the batter expands the fish as the grease pulls it out. Rather than dry breading just covers and Brown's. Both excellent
And with that, I'll see you on the water...
