    Default Masterbuilt sale

Saw this at Tractor Supply today. Not the fancy digital model, but a good price on a solid basic smoker.

Like my Smokey Mountain smoker. But when it bites the dust hopefully I can get a good deal like this.

Appears to be a good price Ray. I'm old fashion I guess, have done it the traditional way for many years. Do it regular. Haven't seen one that produces the perfect smoke ring in beef. For pork, it works excellent. Pork is easy to smoke and works well.

Me and a friend bought one each on August 1 at the local TSC, same price. Smoked a boston butt last weekend did a good job. Heck of a deal, decided to replace my old electric brinkman I have had for years before the element bites the dust. Same smoker but digital runs around $249.00.

How do you set the temp on that model? I have the digital 40 and love it. I smoked some bacon at 150 degrees last week that I had been curing for 10 days. I've been wanting to get a grinder and stuffer and start making my own sausage, but just haven't gotten around to that yet.
