    Default Lamb

One thing I've never fixed is lamb and I would really like to try it. More specifically, I'd like to try smoking it. Should I use the rack or leg? Any advice would be appreciated.

Careful with lamb as it is easily overcooked. I know for a fact that overcooked lamb could be used for boot leather and would probably outlast anything on the market. Might want to try a google search and look for posts from Austrailia or New Zealand

I was raised on a farm . I reckon I've ate bout every farm animal I can think of 'cept sheep and goat . Nothing cuter than a little lamb . Just can't get that picture out of my mind .

x2 what BuckeyeKdog said. Be not only careful of overcooking it, but drying it as well. Much like Cabrito (goat), very lean with little fat to render. By smoking, go with a very low temperature for several hours, offset from heat source.

Well, I haven't attempted it yet. Looks like my best option is a boneless leg of lamb at Sam's. There aren't many stores that have it around here. Thanks for the input. I'm gonna study on it some more before I try it.
