    I ate a rattlesnake last summer out in kansas. I cooked it just like I would fried crappie and I loved it. I also shot it first with a 12 guage shotgun,while dove hunting.

    Can't go wrong with frying it with a mustard/hot sauce/corn meal coating. Not sure that I would mess with it unless its all I had but its a free country. If you do cook one up, post back because I'm quite curious how it turns out.

    I never thought I'd want snake before, but I had to eat it once and it was delicious...but I was also literally starving. Ha. We were out in the woods so all we had was salt and pepper. Skin the snake, let it sit in a tub of salt water for a few hours. Place the snake in foil with salt, pepper, and maybe a little olive oil or butter to keep it from getting too dry. Throw the foil on the grill until it's done. Enjoy!
