    Default Buffalo Crappie

Tried something new tonight as I had an idea on the way to the lake. Coated my crappie fillets tonight in tempura batter and deep fried. Afterwards, I put the fillets in a bowl and tossed with hot buffalo sauce. Tasty!

I dip my fried fillets in More's medium buffalo sauce. Makes me hungry just thinking about it.

It is good. I take some Franks Hot sauce and heat it with a stick of butter to mix the fried filets in. I don't think my heart Doctor likes the recipe though....

I'm thinking of mixing some Franks Hot Sauce right in with the tempura next time.

I've also mixed Franks Hot Sauce and a stick of butter and it comes out tasting just like the stuff Hooters uses!

    Hmmm....sounds worth a try!

I bet after eating a plateful of that, it adds a bit of truth to your name

I did end-up trying it. Pan fried the fish coated with Louisiana Fish Seasoning, then let 'em swim in some Louisiana Hot Wing Sauce. I wouldn't eat 'em that way every time, but was a nice change of pace, and will fix 'em like that again.
