Have you ever eaten them cleaned and cooked correctly. They are very good! Had a neighbor friend who I showed how to troll for hybrid bass and he bought a boat and started fishing for them. Brought a bunch to my house and said he didn't want them that "They wasn't fit to eat". I told him when I cooked them I would bring him some. So I cooked them and took a plateful down to his house and him and his some was on the porch. Couldn't believe they were hybrid and ate the while plate.
Another time we was planning a fish fry for my wife's grandmothers bday. Going to be like 40-50 people there so I caught a bunch of hybrid and had he fry. Cooked way too much and invited the neighbors over. Him and his wife came over (elderly couple) which he was a big fisherman. He ate it and said "best fish I ever had". I told him it was hybrid and he didnt believe me.

Yep, sure have. Have friends that like them to. Just not what I like. compaired to crappie, walleye, blue gill, catfish. Not everyones taste for fish are the same. You like the bass. That's good for you and those who like to eat them.
