Default Anyone ever make that corned goose as posted on flocknockers?

I've had mine curing and cooking it today. Am I supposed to rinse it before I cook it?

    Thanks,

    -Jeff

There is a recipe for corned goose (like corned beef) on flocknockers.com. Not much activity over there so I thought I'd ask it here. I made it and didn't know if I should rinse it before I cook it.

I did rinse it and it smells incredible! Another 90 minutes or so and I'll see how it tastes.

That was GREAT! A little salty, but very good. I hate to think of how salty it would have been if I hadn't rinsed. Next time, I'll put a bit less salt in the cure and more of the other ingredients.

Post the recipe, and the procedure. We kill lots of Sky Carp (White and Blue geese) here in AR.

He said there wasn't much activity, so I'm not going. I like to ratchet jaw to much. Lol

    The recipe sounds interesting tho.
