Default Fillteing and Cooking Asian Carp

This certainly is not crappie, but I got this off another outdoor forum. Thought you guys from Missouri would find this interesting (or anyone who has Asian Carp in their Lakes).

I guess I am gonna have to try eating one. If they are good it will be the easiest fish to catch for supper, just ride around for a little while and they will jump in the boat.

Those Asian carp in the Illinois river taste worst than horse manure. Nobody at the Chicago taste liked the ones prepared by professional chefs. Oh that Missouri Conservation officer or clerk -who ever he claims to be is full of hogwash when he makes the statement that when you eat the carp you are helping to clean up the river-they net them fish by the thousands per day out of the Illinois river and the carp are still gaining in numbers as they are very prolific breeders. He sounds more like a Chicago politician.

Kentucky Afield has a video....been trying for three years. No luck. Live 6 blocks from IL river in Central IL. I can get 100 pounds in the boat in 15 mins if you drive in the right place. I know they are the best bait for catfish. Skin is tough as nails!!!!
