Default Making your own fish breading

When cooking fish, I prefer a storebought breading. I`ve never really tried to make anything homemade to use as breading.
Last year I was at a fish fry where they mostly used crushed cracker, which I thought tasted very good.
Just wondered what is your favorite breading to make. I prefer not to have spicy ingredients in my breading.

Two cups corn meal to one cup flower salt pepper and garlic to taste. Or Andy's fish breading.

We have a freind who takes rice crispies and puts them in a blender and uses salt and some different pepers to season and it's great!

mines a little more involved, but man is it good. first, you need to make you a bowl of flour and 4 good shakes of the pepper shaker. make ya another bowl of cornmeal mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, cayenne pepper (as much or as little as you want). your breading goes as follows. dip fillets in *white vinegar*, then coat in flour mix. next dip the fillets in your milk/egg wash. finally coat in cornmeal mix. Delish!
