I've thought about adding a small bag of crushed funyuns to the mixture.

We cooked crappie with this recipe except instead of thyme used Tony Chachere's creole seasoning it is great. We've had it once a week the last 4 weeks and cooking it right now. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

I used to use the tony chachere's but I have started using the duck commander mild seasoning all I can say is WOW !!!!! Defiantly better than the Tony's. Have also used the duck commander on deer and duck as well and it is awesome. Try it and I do not think you will be disappointed.

Dinner from last night. Fish, fried corn and keen-was salad.
Substituted Old bay for the tyme and used olive oil in place of the butter.

Just made this for dinner tonite. Had to use turkish oregeno instead of tyme (didnt have any). Made a salad with some fresh garden tomatoes, rice and some corn bread to go with it.

    WOW!!!!!

They were absolutely delicious! My 2 1/2 yr old son even liked it. Definately making this again, just need to catch some more crappie.

This has been on here a long time. It's the best way to bake fish we've ever tried. I don't usually like baked fish, but this is great...

We have 6-8 college kids at our house every Friday night. They love baked fish this way. They prefer replacing the egg wash with a mix of milk and ranch dressing. You will get more crunch if you spray the top with a light mist of olive oil.
