I usually make up some pasta salad. Elbow Maccaroni, English Peas, Extra Sharp Cheddar (shreded) and some Bacon Bits. Put it all in a bowl and use just enough Mayo (Helman's) to lightly cover everything. Chill two hours before serving for better flavor, but you can eat it right away if you want to. The only problem is you need a fork or spoon to eat it with. :D Fish, Hushpuppies and pasta salad, life is good!
If you have arrived here by accident, I suggest panic!

Drain them in a pie dish on a paper towel until you have the whole can used up. Then mix up powder sugar about 1/2 cup to 1 cup add just about a 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla & just enough milk to mix altogether, if you get to much milk in the sugar mixture just add enough powder sugar to make a soft smooth mixture. You then drizzle the mixture over the donuts let them set about 5 to 8 minutes before eating. They are wonderful. * I sometimes cook them after I cook my crappie instead of before, especially with new oil. If you need any help let me know.:o
Roadrunner, I tried this today and boy were they good... Thanks again!

    Here's another pasta salad:
Cook up a package of rainbow rotini pasta. rinse in cold water and drain completely. Add diced celery, frozen peas and carrots, sliced green and black olives and maybe a little bell pepper. Mix in shredded cheddar or parmegiano. Toss with Wishbone Robusto Italian salad dressing and chill. Adjust the amounts to suit your taste. - Roberta
