Bring water to boil in a pan deep enough to hold the crappie fillets . Add at least 2 Tbsp Of cider vinegar(this helps keep the fillets from falling apart while boiling. Bring water down to a medium boil put crappies in for at least 10 mins.
Make a bed of lettuce on your plates. Gently remove the fillets from the water using a slotted spoon and place on the lettuce.
Top the fillets with the sliced mushrooms and green onions.
