    Just like Long John Silvers
Cooked up some tonight with this recipe and it was great. What was nice is that all the ingredients is something that probably everybody already have. No need for a run to the store. :D

Don't tell anyone as this is a secret! Panko Bread Crumbs, add a little corn meal if you want to, but, you don't have to!

I havent had this in years, but my Dad used to batter our fish in pancake mix and beer (budweiser), then fry them. Its been since I was a kid the last time I had it that way, think I'll try it next time!

D's style) but had to try it. It was the hit of the fry!! Everyone loved it!! The only problem I had was that the fish would stick to the bottom of the basket when you dropped it in. I'm sure that was operator error though.
If you shake the basket just a litter as you drop the fish it they won't stick.
