Easy Crappie
Probably been posted before but I couldn't find it. McCormick Cajun Seafood Fry Mix. People it don't get no easier than this.
Have fillets in cold water. Remove and shake excess water off and dip into this breading. Pop into oil at 350-375 degrees. I use enough oil so fillet floats when done. Fillets will come out a nice golden brown.
This is like mild tangy not hot ( my wife says its hot but she can't take spicy at all ) and it do taste good. Works equally well with bluegill , walleye, perch and of course crappie.
Have served to all different kinds of people with different kinds of taste. They have all asked for the recipe. Almost always they say it can't be that easy. But it is.
