    Default Jerky Recipes Please

Hey everyone!! Got new jerky slicer and dehydrator from Cabelas from my wifey for Christmas!! Gotta love her!!

I have the recipes that came with it and a few spices....BUT I know there are many on here that have these and make jerky and many other things I'm sure.

Please post your favorite recipes please!! Going to compile them in a file and print out. May even make a jerky cook book for crappie.comers if there are enough.

Thanks in advance!! Look forward to seeing them!!

    Anything goes.

<<<<<<<<Thats really jerky he is eating. lol

I use off the shelf jerky mix and marinate. However, before I start the dehydration I lightly sprinkle the jerky strips with finely crushed Peter peppers.

Warning. Do not pick your nose, rub your eyes or scratch your butt when handling these peppers. I grow and crush my own peter peppers.

1 bottle soy sauce ...(for salt flavoring)
    1 bottle Frank's hot sauce
1 small bottle liquid smoke...(cut this 1 back if you want less smoky flavor)
1 jar jalapeño juice ...(not the peppers just the juice)
    1 bottle garlic powder...

If that's not enough liquid to cover the meat...add more Franks, jalapeño juice, or water to cover meat...

    Marinate overnight in fridge...

(Spray dehydrator racks with Pam cooking spray before adding meat...you will thank me when it comes time to clean those racks)...
