good luck man and send me some lol. my dads grew forever too but it gets real cold up here so the frost killed his plants off.looks like some real healthy plants tho.
I am still picking maters and three kinds of peppers. These thing just wont give up. Wife and I picked a half bushel of bell, tabasco and jalapeno peppers today. We are gonna try our hand at pepper jelly. Been making jelly for years, but just tried pepper jelly this year (we are transplanted yankee's). Man that stuff is good eats. Wish me luck!.

Well, we made a batch of pepper jelly and I hate to toot my own horn, but it is great!. I have eaten it with cream cheese on ritz crackers. YUM! Anyone have any other tidbits on how to use it?
I put it my hushpuppy batter. It's also good on white beans and blackeyed peas. If you like sweet and sour chicken, make your own sauce with your jelly, vinegar and pineapple juice.

Yes, I fish like a girl. If you tried a little harder, you could too!!

Send Some To Nc And I'll Give It The Taste Test! Lol
GET IN, SIT DOWN, HOLD ON, AND BE VEWY VEWY QUITE!!!!!
Dip your crappie fillets in it instead of milk and eggs, then bread then with whatever,it will be very tastey for sure,or roast any meat with it.Heck,I put it on hard boiled eggs, try that.

I'm still picking jalapeno. My Fall garden's doing pretty well, I have Turnips, Collards and potatos. We haven't had our first frost yet and when we do it will get the potatos but I'm kinda looking forward to getting it so it'll kill the weeds and make the greens sweeter.
"Shep"
All froze out here.
