A smart rod would make a smarter fisherman out of a not so smart fisherman.
When I was probably 5 my dad took us out to Lake Grapevine. As he readied our party barge at the slip, I was casting a spinning reel and doing a 3 crank, jerk kind of retrieve I saw in the fishing channel dad had on tv that morning. He told me to pack it up so we could leave the slip. I said one more cast and caught a 5 lb bass. There is a picture at my grandparents of it, I was afraid to lip him so I’m holding the tail lol. Great memory.
God Bless You

I would like to see my grandsons using one of those. It is hard to get boys to concentrate for long, and the signal would sure be useful
Odds are agin me ever winning anything. I am blessed to be loved by my wife of 38 years. Suzanne is between 2nd and 3rd week run of chemotherapy. God will bless her to be here for the spring fishing. I have never been able to have her catch many crappie. She would love to fish with a real crappie pole and to dab her plastics in the only real crappie attractant!!! Slab Sauce is a gift within a gift. Hope I can gift this to her. Either way God is the way. And I wish everyone a happy ,healthy Merry Christmas.
I need a smart Pole to help me catch those crafty crappie

:D Bought too cheap and kept too long!!!!:D
:D WALLY:D
BG fishing on Lake Cumberland recently, tight lining using popeye tipped with wax worm. Bite so light could hardly detect it, this rod would have been great.
I bet I will need more than one SmartRod. Because when it sees this bunch of brick-dumb, no-fish catchin’ rods I have, it will refuse to even be in the same boat with them. There’s been a few times I should have refused.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
Need a rod like that for those light biting winter crappie.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE! The fishing story I have will take place tomorrow, Christmas Day. Tomorrow’s forecast is the best for this week. Low winds. So, my wife and I are going fishing on the lake tomorrow, (Christmas Day) right after lunch with the family.
Would help with the grandkids
