A smart rod in hand is worth 2 crappies in the skillet.

Smart Rod would improve my odds of catching more crappie

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

BG fishing recently on Lake Cumberland, tight lining using popeye tipped with wax worm. Bite so light could hardly detect it, this rod would have been great.

I bet I will need more than one SmartRod. Because when it sees this bunch brick-dumb, no-fish catchin’ rods I have, it will refuse to even be in the same boat with them. There’s been a few times I even refused.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

Fishermen today have sophisticated electronics to find the fish. We have a trolling motor that will keep you on them after you find them. Now we have a Smart Rod to help detect the bite. If someone creates a stimulant to make them bite then it should not be called fishing. It would just be catching. I would tell my wife, “I’m going catching”! Look where we come from; a fisherman in a row boat with a cane pole using a grasshopper for bait. THAT WAS FISHING!
