Thread: PICO Lures Christmas Contest....ends Christmas day 2020

One Christmas Eve grandpa and grandma decided to surprise us with a visit. Mom and dad convinced them to stay the night and be here when we opened presents the next morn. I didn’t have any gifts for them. I tried and tried, but I couldn’t go to sleep that night. I thought and thought, trying come up with a last minute gift they would really appreciate. So after everyone was asleep I quietly crept into grandpa and grandma’s bedroom and took their false teeth from beside the bed, wrapped them and placed them under tree. It was so funny listening to them talking without their teeth, I ask them to open my gifts last. Boy were they excited when they opened the gifts, but for some reason I don’t remember them spending another Christmas Eve with us.

My mother bought for my wife and I an ornament that she was so proud of for our first Christmas as our first Christmas as Mr. and Mrs.
She picked it out in the store, my stepdad looked at it, presented it to my wife and everyone was all happy about it.
Then they handed it to me and I read it...
"Our first Christmas as Mrs. and Mrs."
They were pure shocked and didn't believe me until they took a closer look.
It will now and always hang on our tree because of the laugh that we all got.

Going to grandma's house was always fun.

When your kids are little, Christmas is about Santa Claus. But later on you teach them that it’s about the birth of our Lord and Savior!

Decorating with family is always a special event.

I have some fond memories of Christmases in Afghanistan and Iraq with my buddies and Soldiers. God Bless America
