The day I caught this was one of my best days fishing ever! Almost every cast I was bringing one in. Nothing of any size much but a joy to catch. I even remembered to get photos for the BnM contest that was going on that month. Would love to have one of those days and take my family especially my daughter. Love to see and hear her get excited!

Took the Scouts to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, and of course, the kid that could care less about fishing caught the biggest fish. A 3 1/2 foot long Northern Pike. I know it's not a Crappie, but we did catch and eat a lot of Crappie that week.

A group of friends and I were fishing the edge of a deep freshwater spring. Action had been sporadic when one of them says "where's my rod?" Just joking I responded " Oh that went overboard quite sometime ago!", and wouldn't you know it we looked down and about 20 ft. deep there was the rod tangled on a root ball. We snagged on to it and when we got it in the boat there was a 3lb. bass on it. It took a little convincing for him to believe I hadn't REALLY seen it go in the drink.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

Size: 82.1 KBThis is THE first time I fished in Missouri. It was a fairly warm Feb. morning. I had a bit of time, like an hour or so. Didn't catch nothing but some fresh air. Still a great morning.
