    My wife and I caught about 150 fish on a single fishing trip from 10:30 am until 5:00 PM Monday in Southern Illinois. Mostly short crappie....but also caught bluegill,drum,white bass,and catfish. Made a mess to eat from about 6 of the crappie ,20 of the bluegill and an 8 1/2 lb catfish.

    Nearly every fish caught on a 1/16 oz plain lead head and a watermelon chartreuse slider tipped with a chartreuse nibble.
