remember when polaroids gave you those instant pictures...
The 2 color pictures are of neighbor 'BO' and i when the fishing in Lake Griffin was 'good' no fishfinder, no gps, maybe my first trolling motor(Sheakspere), fishing with true cane poles(2 each) and minnows.
Black and white is me at 15 had 'borrowed' Dad's rod and reel and went to the Rum River at golf course in Princeton Minnesota, got caught with pole and had to get one of my own. Largest pike i ever caught.--shu

Roaming the banks of the Kankakee River and anywhere else fish might lurk.
Found this pic from 1969 used as a page marker in my old Bible. Looks to be from an old polaroid Instamatic.--shu

Me with my first bullhead i caught with grandpa in his secret farm pond.1983 I was 4 It was spring in NY. All he used was minnow and night crawlers we picked from lawn.I was left with grandparents off and on and grandfater had a mild stroke, so all we did was fish and hunt till i was seven. Must have had a impact on me cuz, they are some of my best memories.Yeah i foung a crappie pic.

This photo was taken on the bridge @ Lake Secession (the oldest man-made lake in South Carolina) back in the early 50's....glad they didn't have a size limit, cause Grandpa ate everyone he caught. The wooden bridge is long gone, Grandpa passed in the early 70's and my dad just turned 88 years old. He still enjoys looking at my catches and sits beside the fryer when I'm cooking crappie.
