Here's my fish. She weighted 3 lbs 2 ozs, and was 17-1/4" long. I caught her on April 2, 2011 on a private lake near Richmond, VA. I was using a 1/8 oz pink jig head with a 3" chartreuse curly tail jig, the crappie in this lake like a big bait. She was a real beauty in perfect condition. After a quick photo the fish was released to hopefully catch again. My first crappie over 3 lbs.
