I know he ain't the biggest.....Been holding out to try and show a bigger one, but the big fish bite has wound down for us. Here's a nice male caught on the jig pole. Didn't weigh him, but I'd guess between 1.25 and 1.5 lb. Ain't them black ones purdy!?!?!:D I love to see males when they get jet black this time of year.

You should have seen the looks I got from other anglers when I took a picture holding up my piece of paper with the control code on it.

FINALLY!!!

By far, my biggest slab so far. Logan Martin Lake in Riverside, AL fishing from a dock. 16 3/4" and 2 lb 8 oz. I thought it was going to tip the scales a little better than that though. Wish I had an accurate scale to weigh them right when they are caught, but I had to wait 10 hours to get home and weigh her on my kitchen scale.

These are a couple days early, but had to post. 16 3/4in. went 2lb 9oz. the other was right at 2lb. Sardis, Mississippi

Got these fellas this mornin. No records, big fish was right at 15" but got 25 so cant complain. Its heating up so im getting em while i can!

I am going to give it one more try. Finally got on the water again and had a ball. The wind was higher than they said it would be but we still managed to wear ourselves out. We caught several fish and a few keepers. Here is the biggest of the day. I got to catch it on a jig covered with Slab's "Liquid Minnow" on my new BnM Russ Bailey special. It was a blast. Ferdi
