    A friend of mine was telling me she had a small pond that they call the crappie pond that no one has fished out of in several years and to come try it some time.... Well I happened to have a couple dozen minnows.... It was sprinkling/raining most of the day so my cousin and I decided to see if there was any fish in the pond....

    Caught this slab within 30 seconds of first throw I was very happy.... We also caught several large mouth that were 2 or 3 pounds apiece along with a couple 10 and 11 inchers and lots of dinks....

      that's a great slab, ponds that are unfished tend to get some big fish in them from time to time
