Good week at Shenango lake

With the warming trend we had here in northwestern Pennsylvania this past week, the fishing was phenomenal for me. I got out all four days. Three by myself and one with my nephew. We put 28 crappies in the box together along with some gills and bass which we threw back. By myself, I got two 20 fish limits of crappies and 16 on my last trip. 80% of these fish were thick black crappies that averaged about 11”s. Weather was so nice for this time of year that I didn’t want to leave the lake. Today the temps are falling throughout the day and it’s raining on and off. I won’t complain tho as this has been an outstanding week of fishing. I hope you got out and enjoyed the week like I did.
