a day I'll remember for many reasons. The 1 3/4 hr. drive was brilliantly illuminated with near Full moon phase. This seemingly caused the deer herd along the way to be standing on the shoulder of the highways. They reminded me of spectators watching the parade go by.[emoji1787] What better way to plan my "squaring off" with my opponent than to start w/a square meal= The recent persistent wind has made the dislodged hyacinths a major obstacle while attempting to l/l 8 rods. Didn't take but a minute to see today's 1st cooler invitee. Perfect low but building winds/cloud cover made the day even more enjoyable. All artificial baits were used on 1/32 and 1/16 oz heads. The best string-stretcher today was a 16" hybrid. While I was wrapping up the trip/shooting across the lake, I heard a [emoji95] which caused me to down-throttle and look back @motor. Nothing seen but my attention was drawn overhead to the aerial show I was unknowingly invited to! The Air Force Thunderbirds were conducting incredible Heavenly maneuvers that easily mandated shutting down to enjoy my Free admission. Fabulous, fun-filled day that was somewhat challenged with the long, traffic-congested trip home and fish to be cleaned[thankfully, most were promised to friends "uncleaned"].[emoji106]
