    I motored away from the launch as the sun was breathing life into the day.
    A quick cold ride to the dock. Third cast in I had the first fish in the boat. The Bobby Garland Live RoamR took it's share of the fish caught today. After 10 or 12 smalls I switched to the Slab HuntR in blue ice. I went on to pull 6 more fish from the dock between 10 and 13 inches. The fishing was good at day break and tapered off as the day matured. I was back home a few minutes after 11. Chatted with a fella on his way to the ramp said he caught a limit at daybreak. .

      Boy I love eating Sacalait but I’d trade a meal for feeling that magical THUMP any day.
