Crappie are still biting if you know where to look! Took one of buddies from work out to Milford for some topwater wiper action. Had a few good evenings/mornings but decided to try to find the wipers deep, we found some but they weren’t interested in our baits with the millions of shad swimming around. While looking for the wipers deep I found several brush piles that had slab crappie on them! We caught several 13-14” slabs every time out. Mostly catch and release but we kept 14 for lunch on Tuesday and 26 Wednesday evening to give to our neighbors in the lodge that weren’t having any luck. Can’t wait to go back in late November/December![emoji476][emoji91][emoji91][emoji91]
