    Inches not fish!

Not really into huge fish, sure fun to catch but I don't even own a scale. Seems like it's been a long time since I caught one this big/long especially at Smithville. Hooked two big one deep and wasn't going to make it anyway. I'd rather have 2 10 inchers to eat anyway. I bet you can tell the difference between that one and a 9 inch fish that barley touched the line and it filets!

Kept enough for dinner tonight and caught some dandies.

WTG Bill! I too release the bigger fish as my ideal filets are 8.5 to 12. Seem to crisp up better but don't get me wrong, I luvs me some big fish thumping my jigs hard. Glad to see Smithville is producing for you as it has been tough ketchn there for your crew.
