    I took a friend out last Saturday fishing for crappie. We launched about 5:30 from the ramp and after a nippy boat ride started fishing an area that has been productive in the past. I located some structure with fish on it and the bite was on! We caught crappie pretty steady all morning with about 4 short fish released for each one that made the 10 inch line for the live well. Ended up with 14 keepers. The crappie were about 9 to 10 feet down in 12 FOW. Here's some pics of the trip.
