C1bigocarp is a friend of mine from Manchester TN. A friend you can trust with the keys to your house kind of friend. We fished together a good bit when I lived there and made a few excellent trips catching lots of fish. The man knew his stuff and the local waters. He and I made a trip one day and as I remember, conditions were bordering on pretty tough. He was up in the front of his Stratos managing the TM and other assorted duties and I was in the back doing what I do best…..catching fish. I didn’t pay much attention to things as the day progressed and we had a pretty good box of fish. As we made our way to the ramp he informed me that we couldn’t fish together for a while as I was on probation. I had no clue what he was talking about and told him so in no uncertain terms. He said that I had trounced him soundly from the back of HIS boat and that was bad etiquette so I was on probation til further notice. And I guess he meant it cuz we didn’t share his boat for the next 15 months. We’re still friends and laugh about this whenever it comes up, but Slab received the same treatment today as luck seemed to be on my side. Skeet-5……Slab- 0. I’m guessing that this is my notification that I’m on probation again. Jeeeez!!
A great time trashin around with the boss was had even though the winds and a major front had other ideas. Thanks for the ride Boss, guess it’ll have to be my boat next time.
Gewber huh?
Slab also showed me around his live scope setup, and it’s pretty cool. It didn’t help us a bit but I see the concept and it’s value. The new/old boat is pimped out with all kinds of goodies and cut the chop much better than my flat bottom tin boat would’ve done. A tinkering man’s dreamboat.
