As many boats that were on the lake, it's hard to believe nobody shares a little fishing report very often but here goes. I got out around 630 last Wednesday and waited in line to launch on the south end. Just bought a new to me tracker pro 16 that I'm using when I fish by myself. Have a tr20 Triton but it's so much easier to haul and launch my "little boat." I have really enjoyed this boat the few times I have been out in it. I'm fishing with LS mostly as I couldn't resist after my brother introduced me so have one on each boat.
Started fishing in about 15 fow and picked off a few here and there. Finally found where several were stacked in about 13 fow and it was on. Had to leave at noon to get back to home school with my wife and kids. Had 22 and a few throwbacks. Caught them on crappie magnet sho-nuff/chartreuse with a 16th oz head and of course tipped with a slab bite. Here are a few pics of them.
Took my dad's favorite jig pole with me and caught most on that rod. I truly miss fishing with him but he's not missing a thing here on this earth. Forever with his creator. My brother is now my fishing partner but we don't get to go as often.
Hope everyone had a great Easter with family as well as your church family.
