We didn't go! Just kidding we did and it was a good day. Met up with Uncle Remus and Ofishlbizzness at Ebenezer Park, Danman had to take a rain check and go to work at his daughters home. Hate he didn't get to go but maybe next time around. We launched in very windy conditions and what looked like white caps wanting to form up. Ofish headed out to his spot and Remus and I headed in same direction but stopped short and looked at a spot that caught Uncle Remus's eye. We spot lock long enough to get rods baited and set in rod holders. We were using minnows and jigs tipped with minnows. The jigs were some orange Nat's that I had with lead head. Started moving best we could under the windy conditions and managed to pick at the fish only being slow at that. We eventually started moving into the wind and heading up BA and I guess we spent all of our day in about a half a mile distance and moving no further. Just bumping along fighting the wind. We had 36 fish on the clicker when Ofish called it quits and he gave us his 15 good size crappie he managed to catch. He said he threw lots of shorts back and he was using jigs and no particular color was best. We said our good byes and gave our info to each other for a better start the next time. Remus and I had not had enough of the wind so we stayed and found fish still biting at every calm spot in between the gust. We managed to get a mix of good fish with white perch and crappies to total on the clicker at 56 with a lot of throw backs also. Here is the only pictures I took. P.S. I had a great day with the master fish catcher of Lake Wylie. He really did catch the majority because the driver didn't have time but to be keep the nose into the wind. Did I mention wind burnt! Thanks Uncle Remus!
