During my short time so far on Crappie.com I have been amazed at the enthusiasm shown toward crappie fishing. Now I know that a lot of people have hobbies that they are passionate about (myself included) but it appears that most of us Crappie fisherman are fanatics. The time that some spend on the water is just amazing. It makes me long for the days I can get the chance to do the same.
The knowledge that is held by these Crappie fanatics could fill volumes upon volumes in the Library of Congress. Still yet there is probably more information that has been forgotten by these people than could ever be imagined. It makes me wonder what if these people had taken a different path. What if their passions had taken them to another hobby? What if they had not applied their natural or leaned ability to their passion and the biggest what if of all—what if they weren’t willing to share?
Sure after years and years of experimentation a person may learn a small fraction of what could be learned if only a seasoned veteran was around to help. It would be fulfilling but there would just be something missing. There is just something about talking with someone about the same passion as you that rounds everything out and makes it right. This is why Crappie.com is so successful, so useful, and so important to our passion for crappie fishing ----knowledge base. Thanks to all that contribute and to Crappie.com.
