North Kentucky Shindig at Big Bear

Kentucky Lake Shindig at Big Bear brings in Billbob to participate in the festivities. Here's a picture of Billbob doing what he does best. Well, second best. What he does best is he takes pictures with all the women at camps, but that's another story. Even if he did, he says he's had all his shots.



Anyway, enough about Billbob, I brought my mom down for yet another Kentucky Lake Shindig at Big Bear. I believe this is the fourth she has attended. I bring her down to visit my aunt, who happens to live nearby, and I take them all to the shindig. They love it. Prizes, great food, great people. By now, everyone remembers my mom and my aunt and they greet her with great excitement. They love that. The cold did not seem to slow them down. Particularly once dkb23's father came back with hand warmers for my aunt to slip into her gloves.

HE said he wasn't going to be there. I guess he got bored at home and decided to take a real long drive! Thanks for coming guys. I know Jeff and Speck live quite a ways away. Cane Pole (2011 Crappie.com Man of the Year) is not exactly close either. It was a pleasure seeing you all.


The food was awesome, look at all these deserts.


Most everyone with their heads down eating. That's how you can tell the food was god.


We even had a questions and answers session about the fishery. Great job.

Pictured here on the crutches is our new Supermoderator on Crappie.com, dkb23, and his newly registered sons littledkb and littledkb2. Seems dkb23 took a bit of a beating playing basketball with his kids, hence the crutches! Hope you're all healed by now dkb.





I posted this picture just cause I liked it. Me and my mom.


Me and my other girl, Abbey. It got real cold at night, she kept my toes warm. And I have to thank Grizz for letting me stay in the camper the last day at camp. It was Wiskers camper as I understand it, but Grizz was using it and had to leave early. They let Abbey and I stay in it the last night which was a real good thing. We were able to leave first thing in the morning without having to pack up a damp tent. And we stayed warm. Thanks again everyone for a great time and a great shindig.

See the shirt above. Billbob provided that for being a good fish netter, and beer fetcher! It sure took a lot of practice before I got that shirt though! lol
