Had so much fun snatching specks w/ jigging pole yesterday, went back too see if it wasn't a fluke. Well the males are dressed up & doing their part, with this recent cooler weather, the switch appears to be flipped. West point & Zebco crappie fighter 8 ft rods & 3/32nd jigs got the job done. Moving around a bit to test things out, it's a good bet if you fish pads you'll find willing players. Just amazes me the # ers lake Jesup holds & the better news is a lot of 8"- 10"ers released for next yr. seed.....hope you get out & enjoy wetting a line this time of yr= comfortable & they'll bite all day....tight lines.

that's how you do it. if they are dressed up for the ball, have to stay on them and take advantage as the action can be fast and continuous

Nice going. Wish I was able to go jigging. Too many back issues, won't let me do it. Very nice catch.

That’s a good mess o fish right there. Good Job Jeff. Again. You must like washing the floor of the boat with all that slime on it, a good problem to have.
