• The Tiger versus The Bear

This morning’s adventure started at Ha Ha Bayou and I had a good friend join me. Po drove up from Larto Lake to meet me in Jonesville at daylight and we started pulling cranks. We had plenty bites but nothing would stay on the hook, 1 keeper a few short fish and a couple of gar. We decided to make a move farther back the bayou thinking we would find a little cleaner water when we slowed down for another boat and I noticed something swimming across the bayou. At first I thought it was a hog and I told Po to look at that that’s when we realized it was a bear how cool. We got close enough for some good pictures and Po has the video. Now for the tiger part, yep we seen one standing on the bank, ha ha just teasing. We put the poles back out and caught 2 big fish back to back on the fire tiger color bait and it didn’t take a genius to figure out to put some more that kind in the water. The fish were holding close to the bank and the poles on the bank side gave us most of the action. It got hot around noon and we called it a day bringing home 16.
