Shoutout to 38reloaded

You just never know when you run across another crappie.com member or where!
I was fishing Lake Oconee Friday and shooting docks for hopefully a few for the skillet. I cruised into a cove off the Oconee River below I20 to fish a couple of docks that had the right depths under them. Now, I usually skip docks that have people on them or by them so as not to irritate or agitate the owners. Just my way of promoting good will for other fisherman/woman.
So I’m easing to this dock and I see a gentleman come out the back door of the house. He’s coming at a fast pace and steadily watching me. So I redirect the heading on the boat to just cruise by and not fish. The gentleman speeds up and looking even more determined to intercept me by his dock.
And then he states pretty loudly;

YOU NEED ANY MINNOWS?

Lol

So here’s my shoutout to a solid and very outgoing member of this forum. Thanks for offering the minnows and also for sharing info on spots and the lake to a visiting fellow fisherman.
You never know who you’ll run into when out on the water and make the trip even better.
And Slab, you would’ve been proud. He was wearing his Crappie.com hat and tee shirt.
