We all remember our first time, mine was on May 6th, 2018. Late to the party.... maybe, but eager to experiment and experience that unique feeling, I tried it. Sticky, Stinky, It Rocks, that is what’s promised. Yep, it does. Comes in 2 flavors, always nice to have a choice. So on that fateful day in May it happened.
My first of many, here is number 7 that day, yes I got lucky. 15 was the goal, and the Sauce performed.
Now we know size matters, and a 13 inch Crappie is no slouch, probably seen his fair share of live bait and sub-par slobbered plastics, but add the Sauce... Score.
Slab (see above)..Sauce, the name says it all, but does it work on other species? Crappie are stupid by the way. Does it work year round? In the Spring, procreation within the fish species is prolific, and instinct usually nudges out intelligence, any smelly old salve might work. The real test comes in the other 3 seasons, Summer in the South is hot, so can the Sauce stand the heat?
In Hot waters??? In Deep Waters??
No problem, the Sauce can stand the Heat. Ok , so what about that other flavor, so called “G”? Will it hit the Spot?
The proof is in the pictures, and the G stands for Garlic if you don’t roll in these parts regularly. Now I am no professional by any means, so I actually got the opinion of someone who has fished every day of his life what he thought of the Sauce....
Yellow Crowned Night Heron gives his stamp of approval.
A word of Caution about this Sauce..... DO NOT Add to Chips and Salsa.
DO add this Sauce to your favorite plastics, they will flat chew the bait off your jig!!
So in conclusion, next time you head to the lake....Remember The Sauce (and the Alamo).
Disclaimer: Lots of Fish were harmed in this story, and it is the fault of the Sauce.
