• Another productive trip to Black Lake

We caught another nice mess casting the banks, drop offs and deep brush.

Even caught a couple of little racing crappie that we let go grow up.

Bobby Garland Cajun cricket, electric chicken and bluegrass were the hot colors on hand poured 1/16 jigs

It looks like you were fishing up the creek ? How deep were you fishing. I haven't been to Black Lake in a while. I have heard the silvania is bad again. looking forward to going back some day. soon

Yes sir, we're fishing up the creek on the Stretch. The salvania is not bad up there but it's got the lake clogged up from the hwy 9 bridge to the Pothole. The only boats I've seen come from that way have surface drive motors. I've got a camp north that we launch at and come down the creek. We still see a lot of boats fishing the bridge everytime I drive over it though. Send me a pm if you need more info on the lake conditions.
