Well it has to happen and today was the last trip till spring. With a not so good long term forecast today was it. We did well. It was 26 degrees when i started the truck. We managed a few doubles today and doubled the temp. reading as we landed 52. Again the largest being 16 inches. A lot of nice ones were in the mix going from 12-14 inches. It's a long time till we launch again. About six months. I will as always hit the hard water when its time. Its been a great fall run which helps with the slow spring. I will get the boat unrigged and stored away soon. Till spring you all take care and be safe.

I sure envy you those huge BC but I guess I will take fishing soft water 12 months a year as a consolation prize. I have caught fish that resemble those in Rainy Lake. Where are you guys?

You post are a great testament to proper fish management, take a few to thin the heard, but send back enough big ones to hoist next year & for the next generation to come....
