The Big Crappie Classic is the largest family fishing tournament that targets crappie fishing only! This tournament has two divisions Adults and youth. The youth has to fish with their parents or guardians, this way the families are spending quality time together in the great outdoors, sharing the water and fishing together.
The Big Crappie Classic is an hourly tournament where you can only weigh one fish per hour per angler, adults and youth weigh in during the same time just like the pros !
Cash and Prizes will be awarded for the largest fish weighed in hourly . This year the payout for 1st $300, 2nd $200 , 3rd $100, 4th 50 and 10th $300 every hour, plus the youth division will have great prizes for 1st , 2nd and 3rd ! Adults Grand Prize $1000 Dollars and Youth Grand Prize Pelican Bass Raider 10ft. Lake ready ! Also at registration we are giving away $1000.00 Dollars at Ed Wallace Ford in Hugo, Oklahoma on the square…May10, 2012 from 4pm -8pm “Wow $1000.00 Bucks” I can’t believe it !
The anglers can start fishing on their favorite fishing hole at 6:30 am and the first weigh in is at 8am and every hour after till 1pm at Wilson Point Park, Lake Hugo !
It’s a must to try to weigh one crappie every hour on the hour. Your odd’s of winning are great. You must fish on Lake Hugo and no boat slips or in the tail race behind the dam.
The 11th Annual Mr.Crappie Big Crappie Classic is fun for anglers of all ages. I have been the Weigh Master every year because I want to see the twinkle in the young kids eyes when they come to the scales to weigh in their catch just like Dad! Fishing for crappie is a lot more fun with your kids or other family members or the next door neighbor’s kids. I do not leave one child behind, every child will have a great time win lots of fishing tackle and can go back to school and tell his or her friends how much fun they had at the Mr.Crappie Big Crappie Classic Hosted by Wally Marshall/ Mr.Crappie.
