40 and I started out in the shallows searching for some early scouts. Didn't catch anything shallow. 40 did hang a good female (probably 1.75) He got her to the top of the water and led her over to me where I swiftly knocked her off the hook for him. Wasn't gonna have him catch the first fish over me...
Moved out to deeper water and started picking up a few. Oh I forgot to mention the fog was as thick as pea soup. You could have literaly cut it with a knife.
Anyway after about an hour of that the bottom falls out on us. We made a mad dash back to the bridge to wait out the mini typhoon. The rest of the day was less eventful.
Ended up keeping 23 and tossing a couple back. My best colors were blue thunder and Vegas fished 16' deep all over the channel.
