Here is my Hurricane Irma story and I am sticking to it.

Weather station at 5:41 AM on 09-11-2017. Total rain fall for the event (IRMA) was 16.42 inches. We did not receive any damage to the house. but for the landscape another story.

    Banana forest before Irma.
The white pvc poles are to support the bananas while growing, as they are so heavy.

    Banana forest after IRMA.
Lost one plant that had a bud form on 09-09-2017.

    Banana harvest before IRMA.
We hang the bunches in the garage, and they ripen just the same way as the ones that you purchase in the grocery store, that are green.

The boat is stored in an outside storage lot, and did not receive any damage. I keep it covered with a cover made of sumbrella material.
