Friday, due to the hot weather we been having, I decided to take a break from bow hunting and called BillBob to see if he would like to go fishing and he was more than happy to accept so Sat we met at 8am at the launch of Lake Lemmon in Indiana as the sun was rising and launched the boat. I hadn't been on any water for a long time and neither had BillBob so we both decided the day before via phone, to long line jigs and so the search and destroy mission was planned. Billbob long lined out of the back of the boat and I wanted to experiment pushing jigs has hadn't before. We fished 3.5 hrs before we decided it was time to go in. Day was sunny with light wind and warm, when we started fishing it was 58 and by 11:30am it was 76. Water temp was 61 and also had risen to 62.5. We ended up enjoying the outing immensely but had only caught 10 fish with all released. We much didn't mind the slow fishing as it was a perfect autumn Indian Summer day on the water. Here is a couple of pics of Billbob sporting his Arkie Hat and using Arkie Jigs to boot. Enjoy!
