I always had a problem with tackle bags that were too big and in the way. Plano has introduced a new “A-Series 3600 Tackle Bag” that features 5 Stowaway Boxes with 4 Zipper Compartments and is water resistant. It has a small footprint that I love in the boat.
I can take two of these and fit them in my storage compartment with ease. The I biggest problem has been bags that were too big and take up too much space or ones that are too small to carry the minimum tackle needed.
That’s not a problem anymore with the Plano 3600 Tackle Bag. This bag is awesome. I can fit all my Bobby Garland soft plastics in 3 of the boxes and all my jigs and Road Runners in the other box. In the zippered sides I carry scales, pliers, bug spray, sun block, sunglasses and many of your accessories. Suggested retail is under $50, making it a super buy for a tackle bag that will last a long time with a small footprint.
I keep one of these in my truck with a compact spinning rod behind the back seat. I’m ready at any time to stop and make a few casts. This is my psychiatry, I know of no better way to relieve that day-to-day stress than to stop by my favorite fishing hole and make a few cast. It not the fish I’m after, it’s the fishing.
