Kowboy and I fished out of my boat today in Sugar Creek. We started about 7:45 and the water temperature was 54-55 degrees. We fished hard until 4:30 and kept 25 good fish. The water was 58 degrees when we quit. As usual we pushed 6 rods out the front and also pulled 10 rods. The fishing was slow for us all day but we did manage to catch a couple of 2 lb. fish. The acid rain curly tail still seems to be working about as good as anything with popsicle and wildcat colors close behind. The highlight of our day was seeing a couple of CDC celebrities on the water Earl and Cuz. I might be wrong but as we were rolling up at 4:30 I think we saw Hobo. I talked to a crappie fisherman at the takeout and he said the water in the back of SG was 68 degrees. We had a blessed day. The fishing was good, we didn't tear up any equipment and the truck battery wasn't dead when we got ready to take out.
