It was a light NW wind with air temps at 31 when we put in at 8:45. The water was down a little and stained some. They pulled a little current off and on for short periods. We fished BG jigs, mostly on a double rigged, single line, casting to spots and retrieving very (I mean very, very) slow. The best depth was about 8 ft. My best color combination has been Ice Blue and Watermelon Wine. The fish bit off and on all morning and were still going when we left at 2:00. I think the later afternoon would have been good, but my health just won't let me stay that long. I stayed too long as it was.
Anyway, we caught somewhere around 50 and kept the 29 seen in the cooler picture.
PS: We also caught about 20 real nice white stripe. They were fat and hammered the jig.
